A bare hanger is a clean white shell. What makes it feel like a wedding hall or a launch venue is the decor, lighting and power. All three need planning before setup day.
Can you hang decor from the frame?
Often yes: ceiling drapes, fabric lining, light strings, flower frames and lightweight chandeliers are commonly fitted. The frame has a safe load limit, though, and heavy items can overload it. Before you plan chandeliers, trusses, LED walls or speaker stacks, tell us what you want to hang and its weight, and ask us to confirm. Never hang heavy items from the frame on your own.
Lighting inside the hanger
A white roof lets in daylight, so an afternoon event may feel bright inside, while an evening event needs full lighting. Plan for:
- General lighting for guests and movement.
- Stage and focus lighting.
- Decor lighting, such as fairy lights, spotlights and uplighting.
- Emergency lighting near exits if the event runs after dark.

Power: how much do you need?
Total load comes from lights, sound, AC, kitchen equipment and any LED screens. AC is usually the largest part. Ask your suppliers for their power needs and add them up, then confirm the supply at your venue. If the venue supply is not enough, you will need a generator, and the fuel, a technician and safe placement away from the fabric.
Hiding wires and cables
Cables can be run along the frame, under flooring or in covered channels, so that guests do not trip over them. Ask for wiring to be insulated and kept off the ground, especially in the rainy season. Keep power distribution boxes in a protected, accessible spot.
A simple checklist
- List every decor item to be hung, with weights.
- List all electrical equipment and its power needs.
- Confirm the venue supply or arrange a generator.
- Agree where cables and distribution boxes will go.
- Plan emergency lighting and exits.
